Our First Visitors

Just a couple of weeks after our move, we welcomed our first visitors (besides my mom!). Sarah and Jackie, two of my good friends from residency decided to travel down south while they were still relaxing before starting their jobs as hospitalists at CHW. Jackie, Sarah, and Elizabeth (Sarah's college friend who also lives in Cinci) met me at this fun pub called Tellers which is an old bank turned into a swanky restaurant/bar in Hyde Park. It sure is obvious by our photo who has been on vacation and who has been in the hospital! We had a great meal on the patio and then made our way down to Graeter's to sample some of the most delicious ice cream ever... there certainly is a reason the chain has been around since 1870 (I promise to take anyone who visits). Afterward they got a tour of my house, we visited, and I had to go to bed since I had to work early the next day. They explored the city while I was at work and then I met them at a restaurant called the Dilly Deli that Elizabeth found. After stuffing ourselves again, Jackie and I went back to my place and Sarah spent the night with Elizabeth. We had a great time just catching up and talking about life before it was bedtime again. It was so nice to have some old friends in our new home. So for everyone else... our home is officially open!
